Because we have been in the processed food business a long time we have established good contacts with CFIA & HC. We often can get clarity or an opinion on issues or requirements much faster than the standard route through the IIC. We are also members of Industry organizations and key committees that regularly work together with CFIA on all issues related to the SFCR’s.
- If your having a Food Safety issue call us to advise you on how to handle your communications with regulators.
- If the regulator is already involved with your Food Safety issue - call us to determine if they are proceeding properly or going further than required. We can help limit the regulatory impact in most cases.
- If you are wanting to get onto the US Export list - we can help facilitate that with CFIA.
- If you are having an Export issue at the border or I-House we can clarify what is going on and often reduce or clear up issues quickly.
- If you need an intrepretation of a requirement (i.e. condensation, CVS requirement etc) give us a call and we can clarify directly or find out from the regulator.
